Proton - Open Source 3D Printer
myminifactory
Proton is one of two open-source 3D printers designed by Layer One, creators of Atom 3D Printers. The RepRap project produced functional printers, but clearly nobody intended to produce something for the desktop of discerning designers. That's where Layer One's Proton and Neutron come in - perfect for open-source advocates, tinkerers, and designers with an eye for aesthetics. All printed parts of the printer are available right here. Proton was built in OnShape; log in to remix your own version free, as long as you share what you've made. Visit our website for BOM, CAD files, assembly guide, and everything else. Proton is available at http://www.atom3dp.com/mini. For more information on Atom 3D Printers, visit https://www.atom3dp.com.
