A tiny dinosaur named Protoceratops lived about 75 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous period in what is now Mongolia. The species got its name from two scientists who discovered the fossil remains, Roy Chapman Andrews and the American Museum of Natural History. They discovered Protoceratops skull and partial skeleton near Djadochta.
