Ever since I upgraded my Prusa mk3 with a "roller-style" spoolholder, cardboard spools from Proto-Pasta started getting dented and then derailing due to the issue. This innovative spool guard designed in Fusion360 protects the fragile cardboard spools by its slightly larger outer diameter. The edges are carefully rounded to stay securely on the rollers. Both parts have long threads so the width can be adjusted freely (minimum 40mm to maximum ~80mm) to accommodate all spool sizes. In practice, this design also works well for any other 200mm spool.
