<h2>Cable Organizer by Proteus</h2> Tame your cable chaos with this heavy-duty roller, still a work in progress but ready for testing. The Cable Organizer is designed to handle any cable you throw at it. Be prepared for long print times, though. Share your thoughts and ideas in the comments below. Community input is encouraged. **Get more designs like this by becoming a Patron:** https://www.patreon.com/proteanman Every contribution helps, and new ideas are always welcome! <h3>Hardware</h3> **Fasteners and Bearings:** * 1x M8 Threaded Rod (cut to size with hacksaw): 95mm for Open Center Design or 170mm for Dual Strut Design * 2x M8 Nuts * 2x M8 19x6 Bearing * 1x M5 Bolt and nut (for Base_BearingWheel_SingleStrut) * 2x M5 10x4 Bearing (for LowerRoller_Core_WithBearing) **Adhesives:** Choose your best option: * Plastic Adhesive (make sure it's compatible with your plastic type, use proper air filters/respirators) * CA Glue (Super Glue) * Epoxy (use proper air filters/respirators) <h3>Base Hardware:</h3> * M6 holes are cut into both Base types for securing the Cable Organizer to a surface. * Both Base types measure 80mm x 180mm. <h3>Printing Parts</h3> **Start with the THINWALLED files first.** Unless you need extreme industrial cable handling, the THINWALLED wheel sizes should be sufficient. **No support needed!** This design is optimized for printing on any printer without supports. See images for Base types to print: * Use stronger materials like PETG, ABS, NYLON, or others. I personally use PETG for everything. If you want faster prints, try the -THINWALL versions of main parts.
