Drago Tršar was born on April 27, 1927, in Planina, Rakek, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. He is a renowned Slovenian sculptor who has gained international recognition for his abstract sculptures. Tršar's works are showcased globally in numerous exhibitions. Tršar studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana from 1947 to 1951. In 1961, he became an assistant at the Academy and later a lecturer, eventually becoming a professor in 1967 and then again in 1974. In 1969, Tršar co-founded the artist group "69". He participated in the Venice Biennale in 1958 and documenta II in 1959 in Kassel. Today, Drago Tršar resides in Ljubljana. This artwork is part of the "Scan The World" initiative, a non-profit project introduced by MyMiniFactory to create a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks, and landmarks from around the globe for public access.
