Protein Powder Dispenser

This is a versatile dispenser for protein powder or any other powdered mix that utilizes the same type of wide-mouth opening and lid system. I crafted the stand from wood and gave it a fresh coat of paint. The wooden platform stands at 7.5" tall, allowing you to fit a protein/blender bottle snugly underneath it. Parts: All parts were printed with a precision of .2 mm height. The base was printed with supports due to its lip underneath, which helps align the bottle perfectly. Printing the funnel with a translucent type of PLA would be beneficial, as it allows you to see when the powder is running low. You may need to smooth out the slider for seamless sliding. I used Gorilla Glue to assemble the parts (the gel type works well). Four wood screws, approximately 3/4" long, attach the base to the wooden platform. Operation: Place your bottle underneath and move the slider all the way back before advancing it fully forward; this will dispense 45 g of powder. If you prefer a single scoop (35g), insert the 35g sleeve into the hole prior to operating the unit. Update: After utilizing my dispenser several times, the handle on the slider broke off. I reinforced it and added the update in the Thing Files. Apparently, printing with only 20% infill wasn't sufficient for strength; a higher infill percentage could also be used.
