So, this might not be interesting for most people, but anyway. I've got a special keyring for my motorcycle key (and other keys as well) that's really cool. It's a small metal brick with a number on it, registered at the local police, so if I lose my keys and someone finds them, they can easily be traced and returned to me. The metal brick is 16mm x 52mm with rounded ends (r=8mm) and is 2mm thick. The problem is that the steering stem on a motorcycle is easy to damage with a metal keychain. I came up with this little "sleeve" that encases the little metal brick yet makes it easy to read the text on it. Attached are also files to open in 123Design if you want to play around with this idea. Print Settings: Printer - Wanhao Duplicator i3, Rafts - Doesn't Matter, Supports - No, Resolution - 0.1mm, Infill - 15%, Notes - At 3.9mm height, pause the print and insert the metal brick in the void. The rest of the print will then print over and encapsulate it inside. I also changed the color of the filament to make it look fast and sporty.
