ProtectO - simple way to secure your power socket type F
thingiverse
Hi there! Do you have small kids who are always searching for something interesting in the house? They're always finding things they shouldn't be playing with, and it's especially alarming when they start trying to put objects into the power socket. To prevent your baby from getting a shocking surprise, I've updated my first version of protection, which I call ProtectO. It's designed to fit snugly inside the socket and is easily accessible by simply spinning it clockwise with your plug. Just remember to put it back in safety mode when you're not using it - unfortunately, it doesn't work automatically yet! If you need to remove it, use a pair of flathead screwdrivers and gently pry it out from its half-circular space. Why bother buying pre-made protection kits when you can simply print your own at home? Plus, you get the bonus of customizing the color - choose from orange, blue, or pink ProtectO! Follow these steps for perfect results: Calibrate your printing platform to good specs. Infuse 10% material density. Set layer height to 0.2 mm. Opt for two complete shells with no inner support (since it's already built in). If you have trouble rotating ProtectO by hand, simply insert the plug and spin it clockwise - a bit of force might be necessary to break the connection between the inner and outer parts. But don't worry, I've left enough room so that this shouldn't cause any problems!
