I uncovered that RoboPeak failed to make available a public 3D model for RPLidar. As the device wasn't equipped with a protective skirt by default, leaving it vulnerable to dust and light exposure, I was forced to rebuild the model from images and technical manuals. This project received significant backing from Cisco Systems and #fablab77.
