This 2-Version Head Band is designed specifically for Face Shield use in Covid-19 fighting staff (model PRUSA RC2 - F6.R). It's an open-source remix created to support the makers community worldwide in addressing protective equipment shortages due to the pandemic. The headband model is engineered to be straightforward and easy to assemble from a standard A4 transparent sheet, with a minimum thickness of 180 microns. The sheet features holes strategically punched using an office hole punch (Euro-hole) at an 80mm distance, allowing for precise alignment of the headband pins. A key feature of this design is its versatility - it can be assembled in either portrait or landscape orientation, offering users two options: a taller portrait version or a wider landscape version. Users simply need to choose the best configuration and adjust their Euro-hole punch accordingly to create the desired sheet holes. Despite not being optimized for fast print times, this headband design prioritizes part height for optimal comfort during extended wear.
