Protection for slug pellets

Spring is back and with it, our friends (?) the slugs. I designed this protection for the pellets to meet 4 functions : To protect the pellets from the rain. Remove the pellets from the birds' view to prevent them from absorbing it. Distribute only a small amount of pellets where they are needed (economy). Be easily movable to re-use these protections elsewhere, quickly, depending on the destructive pressure exerted by our dear gastropods. The dimensions are about 36x28x60mm. Here, for example, I put a protection between 2 plans of freshly transplanted Spring lettuce. In a few times, I will be able to use these protections elsewhere, when the lettuces will be big enough not to be decimated by slugs anymore.
