Protection for Parrot Anafi v2
thingiverse
This is a cutting-edge model of protection that's significantly lighter than my previous one, weighing in at just 32 grams for all four parts compared to the hefty 40 grams. It requires no printing support whatsoever. The grate is printed flat and then carefully bent into shape using a hairdryer and form, after which it's securely glued into the grooves of the upper and lower parts. The form can be expertly printed with ABS containing 20% filling, while other details are crafted from Petg. I put this model to the test by having a drone collide with a wall, and the results showed that Petg or CoPet were the best choices for durability. PLA proved to be too fragile, while ABS isn't suitable for the bottom part. I'm currently working on creating a reinforced arm model based on Parrot Anafi thermal data. Unfortunately, I'm stuck using photographs, which is quite inconvenient. To track my development progress, please refer to the last photo posted. If you're able and willing, consider donating to help me acquire a Parrot Anafi Thermal Arm KIT for digitization purposes. Your contribution would be greatly appreciated.
