Prosthetic Terminal Device

The Prosthetic Terminal Device is a versatile grabbing tool for everyday objects. It features three printable components - upper and lower fingers made of ABS, and spring material. Other parts such as pins, washers, axles are crafted from stainless steel. To close the device, simply pull the attached wire connected to the lever and lower finger. The resistance when closing is provided by the ABS spring between the upper and lower fingers. In designing this 3D printed object, I aimed for a sleek appearance without appearing overly mechanical. Although it's my first attempt at 3D printing design, there's room for improvement in terms of production and function; however, time constraints often limit iterations.
