Prosthetic Hook Hand
thingiverse
This prosthetic device was created by a group of inventive engineering students at Liberty Common High School during their bio-engineering class. They took inspiration from metal prosthetic hooks and incorporated elements from the ody prosthetic hand's bracer part into their design. However, everything else about this prosthetic is entirely unique and designed from scratch. We firmly believe that a prosthetic device with this type of functionality would be far more practical and useful than a traditional hand-shaped prosthetic. This is because it allows for greater agility and the ability to grasp very small objects with ease. Despite still being a work in progress, our team hopes that this project can serve as an inspiring example for individuals around the world who are without hands.
