Prosthetic hand drumstick attachment
thingiverse
This is a attachment designed for use with a 3D printed prosthetic hand, allowing users to easily and effectively play a drumstick without having to grip it directly. The attachment was created at SPU as part of the Engineering program's efforts to give those affected by tragedy the opportunity to live life in a more comfortable and familiar way. I specifically designed this drumstick holder for a 5A drumstick, but users can easily adjust the size of the hole using any CAD program they are familiar with to accommodate their preferred drumstick. Changes made for the 2.0 version: - The top has been opened up to allow for a wider range of drumstick diameters to be clasped. The creation of music should not be limited by unfortunate circumstances, and I am proud to have had the opportunity to make a difference in this way.
