Prosthetic Foot for Young Children
thingiverse
These feet were designed and shock-tested for use by a six-year-old high-activity user of the K4 prosthetic foot. Students at the University of Maryland-College Park created them. Designs are reversible for use on either side of the body. Models were based on the WillowWood Pediatric Titanium Foot Pyramid. The "Mark III" is paired with a shock absorber that should be printed in a flexible material like CheetahFlex, which was used in testing at 17% infill. The "Sandal" and "Shoelace" models should be printed with 50% infill. The "4-7" model has not been fully impact-tested, but estimated print infill is between 40-50%. Designs were created by Shelli Bond, Brendon Bondoc, Cherie Landa, and Dylan Taira.
