Prosthetic Finger Joint Negative
thingiverse
This is a finger Joint Negative, designed as part of a research group in the e-NABLE Hub. To use this, you create your own finger design (even just a simple cylinder), you customize this Joint Negative to the right size and substract it from your design. This is to be used for creation of new prosthetic arms and fingers, as you can use this to create the mechanical joints for your design, without trying to engineer them. With this model, after you create your arm/hand/finger, you place on top of it the Joint Negative, and perform an operation of substraction(or cut, or combine>cut, or however it is named in your choice of software). The thingiverse customizer is having some bugs, so I recommend downloading the file and running it in OpenScad. When you open it in your fresh download of OpenSCAD, on the left side of the screen you should see the customizer with all the settings. Enjoy! Printing: Lol don't.
With this file you will be able to print Prosthetic Finger Joint Negative with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Prosthetic Finger Joint Negative.
