The forges of Idunni are vital to her trade and securing her domain, and as such are fed by mining expeditions from numerous holds within the galactic core, by the consortium's heartlands, and those further beyond. Such mining expeditions are numerous and constant, feeding her forges. Colossal mining ships are a common sight, built strictly for resource extraction and general crew aminities, those finding their way into the far stars strike a perilous journey without escort, thus when the mining ship Seeker encounters an unusual stellar anomoly that flings their vessel far across the galaxy, they are tasked with a troublesome journey to return home with limited resources and minimal defenses.
