I'm buying a train whistle for my grandkids, but not just any whistle - one that sounds like an actual train. The ones available commercially just didn't cut it, so I had to get creative. It took me weeks and several attempts to get it right, but the end result was worth it. I based this design on the K5LA Amtrak whistle's signature notes of B, D#, F#, and G#. To make it sound more authentic, I added an extra "B" note, which really brought out the five distinct tones. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
