Proper Foam Cannon Stabilizer
thingiverse
I recently had the opportunity to evaluate a new foam cannon by Proper Detailing for Amazon and really liked the unit overall, but did not like the fact that the footprint on the bottle was so small that the unit was unstable and would not easily remain upright when set down. To solve this problem, I designed this stabilizer which snaps onto the unit and greatly increases the stability of the unit and keeps it from tipping over. You will need to print 1 stabilizer base and 2 spring arms to make the unit. It is assembled with 4 each 6-32 x 1/2” 82 degree flat head screws and 6-32 nuts. I used PETG material, which is stronger and more heat tolerant than PLA. You don't need additional adhesion pads with either print and there is nothing critical so go with your (or your slicer's) preferred settings. If you wash your own cars and have a pressure washer, a foam cannon is a must have. They work great and simplify the whole process. I have not tested this, but it would appear that this stabilizer would also work with a similar device by PWACCS.
