Propellers for rubber band models and planes
thingiverse
Propellers suitable for model planes and rubber band propelled vehicles are offered. They can also work well with electric motors. A 2-blade model, a 3-blade model, and a 4-blade model are available. These propellers work best on planes with a wingspan between 30cm and 50cm. For different sizes, the model should be scaled to meet your needs. A video is available that demonstrates how to assemble these propellers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGvR3ibxaFY. A black picture also shows the details of the assembly procedure. To print these propellers, use a 0.1mm layer height. Print with six top and bottom layers. Use support material and two rafters. Do not add a skirt. Print as is, without flipping over. The propeller should be printed with its nose down and its hole up. After printing, sand the surfaces to smooth them out. Then, prime and paint for an even smoother finish. See the pictures and video for examples.
