To test a motor-propeller combination, utilize a kitchen scale like the "SOEHNLE" max 2000g for measuring thrust in both directions. A 20x20mm square tube with M3 screws and an impeller bracket can also be used. In a video (http://youtu.be/yRqLzA4--oU), they tested the Roxxy Outrunner and a 10x6" propeller driven by a 3 cell battery, measuring thrust, current flow, and temperature, with temperature being crucial for PLA-mounted motors (reaching 68°C residual heat). Be cautious when using the scale in an upward thrust scenario, ensuring a tight bond of the pan and charging it beyond the possible thrust. Proceed with care, as you use it at your own risk.
