Propeller

Propeller

Having witnessed the Quadrocopter from Zaggo, I felt it was time to tackle printing Sublime's complex propeller. To achieve successful printing, I had to print it vertically at 1.75 times its original size. Adding a platform within the model ensured stability for vertical blade printing. The hub was scaled by an additional 5% for a perfect fit without sanding. After printing two blades and a hub, simply snap the blades off their circular platforms and attach them to the hub. For added functionality, add a 9-volt battery and a small DC motor to create an instant fan.
