This is a model of a propane tank foundry furnace that I built. The primary goals of the project were to create a well-insulated, highly efficient furnace.Soft firebricks were used to insulate the furnace body; I used Fusion360 to design some brick grinding jigs that were 3D printed to achieve a precise fitment.Using my custom designed forced air burners, the furnace performs well and can melt brass on only 2 psi of liquid propane gas.CAD for grinding jigs and furnace blowers will be available when GrabCAD supports .f3z files...Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/CigznTYLRpE/YouTube: https://youtu.be/KktUJiqQ2Ug
