Propane Tank Base
thingiverse
This is a pair of snap-on bases designed for 20 or 30 pound propane tanks. A pair of small projections inside the track align with holes in the bottoms of most tanks, allowing them to snap securely into place. An extra-thick bottom provides tolerance for wear and tear. I specifically use these on the bottom of my RV's propane tanks, where metal-on-metal contact between the tanks and their metal tray causes wear and rust. Printed out of PLA, but I will reprint in tough PLA if wear becomes an issue. Softer plastics may not be suitable if the tanks are sitting on metal or concrete and are moved frequently. Rotating this design 45 degrees can help maximize print bed space; it's about 7.5" long, with a curved shape that allows for smaller print beds.
