Recently discovered part of medieval mining operation in Kutna Hora. Historic mining operation can be identified with high probability as the old mine Staré Šipší, representing valuable example of character of older kutnohorský mines. Although it cannot be dated precisely yet, it is very likely to be an original medieval mine with possible activity even in 16th century. In year 2012 occurred a collapse on communication at cemetery near church of All Saints. In year 2019 the National Monument Authority implements project for detailed survey and documentation of relevant mining operation. Before measuring spaces were ventilated by forced ventilation, checked and equipped with three climbing ropes and auxiliary rope ladder. During mapping CO2 concentration was measured continuously and ventilation repeated as needed.
