When using a folding propeller with a pusher aircraft, it's crucial to have a prop-stopper in place to prevent the blades from folding back past center when the motor is stopped. If you don't have one, the blades will cross and cause an imbalance so severe that it can rip the motor off the plane when you start it up again. This device eliminates this problem while also preventing the blades from snapping forward too far on startup, which can damage the aircraft depending on its design. This updated version is a fully-parameterized Fusion 360 model. You can customize it to fit any spinner by changing parameters. I've included four sets of parameter files and the corresponding .STL files generated by them. They are for the MPI PK50 and PK40, as well as the TopModel 36mm and 32mm spinners. One place to buy each of these types is at www.readymaderc.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=165_10_0_534_544_577_580&products_id=1226, or alofthobbies.com/aluminum-spinners-folding-props-6mm.html. The PK50 version was optimized to work with Aero-naut CAM folding blades in the 13-inch range. The BB version was tuned for 10-12 inch blades. Other sizes may also be compatible. Fusion 360 design and .CSVs with parameters are included, along with the Fusion 360 plug-in "ParameterIO" which can directly read them for import.
