Prop Guard for Turbobee 99r
thingiverse
I crafted this propeller guard structure specifically for my iFlight Turbobee 99r. My goal was to replace the worn-out original prop guards that had given in to repeated collisions. While waiting for replacement parts from China, I designed a new frame. At first, I printed numerous frames using PETG. However, after testing them, I found they were more fragile than expected. Undeterred, I experimented with Grafylon3D's Filoalfa and was pleasantly surprised by the results. I have attached two STL files: one is a simplified design that weighs only 14 grams, equivalent to four original guards; the other includes seats for the RX antenna covers, a small tail for the VTX antenna, and a reinforced section on the front guards.
