PROMIMETIC is based in Flexy Arm by Christian Silva. This prosthetic solution can only be adapted in a patient older child or adult to 3 years under the supervision of a certified professional in the handling of prostheses and orthoses. All reproduction or derivatives from this model should be supervised by a certified professional in the handling of prostheses and orthoses. It is not a model for commercial use, and all kinds of intentions of selling and making business or taking profit from it or any derivation remix etc will be punished by the law, except for its developer. This project was designed and developed by artist Wilmer A. García P., a student at the National University of Colombia. The mechanical concept is based on Flexy arm by Christian Silva, and the work of the e-NABLE group (http://enablingthefuture.org/). All parents and children were informed about the study and research for the development of this work. For children 3-16, consent was explained by the principal investigator and signed by the children and their parents.
