Prometheus 40mm Fan Duct
thingiverse
I'm upgrading my Prometheus (V2) setup with a custom fan shroud. Check it out: https://www.distechautomation.com/products/prometheus-v2 This nifty modification allows me to swap the loud original fan for a quiet 40mm silent fan, specifically the Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX. The design accommodates 3mm wood screws, and I suspect 3mm thread screws will also fit seamlessly. To assemble it, simply print out the shroud, slide it over the heat sink from the top, and you're good to go! Just ensure your 40mm fan has sufficient airflow; if not, the filament may heat up prematurely and jam in cold zones. I designed this fan shroud using SolidWorks 2014.
