First of all, if you ever need help or want to lend a hand to others in getting their printers dialed in and calibrated, please join this Facebook group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1156304777857840/ If you're not properly aligned, this will be extremely difficult to print, so make sure the printer you're using is well-calibrated! If you're working with a PROMEGA and printing this, you'll likely have a .5 nozzle. I highly recommend using a .4 nozzle instead, as it will yield better results. If you're able to get it working with a .5 nozzle, please share your experience in the comments. This design is meant to be an easy replacement for the stock wire housing and cable chain mounting system. It provides more space, reduces movement restrictions, features a hinged enclosure that prints as one piece, and eliminates the struggle of closing it up. I apologize if some of the photos appear upside down; Thingiverse can make it quite challenging to post pictures in the correct orientation. For this version, I've added several new features. The cable chain mount replaces the stock mount, allowing you to use a pivoting regular chain link instead. It's angled at 2.5 degrees above zero due to the slight amount of sag and keeps most of the chain off the case as it moves back and forth. The bowden tube guides on top are now closed and will fit Capricorn XS; however, I'm unsure about XL compatibility. This design uses only one rear housing screw to lock it into place and prints as a single piece. If you're like me, you've probably struggled with wires in the past. Adding just one extra wire to the stock housing can be like adding a hundred. The added length of wire can be overwhelming. So, I had to get creative because there's limited space back there to work with and I was tired of yanking wires out of the coupler due to lack of space. I've mounted it and tested the clearance with the gearbox mod, but kept its outer dimensions mostly the same. It should work on both stock and modified printers.
