Modification to replace the original Z axis design with a triple leadscrew design allows for auto tramming and true auto compensation. This is an involved modification that demands exceptional workmanship and accuracy to fully realize the advantages of a triple leadscrew design Z axis. Refer to the PDF for detailed instructions. A well-tuned printer is required. Images show optimal part orientation for printing. Everything prints without support, except as noted below. Print the following with 1mm walls and 20% infill in your preferred material: 2 - FrontRailTemplate 2 - 15x15to12Template 1 - StepperMountTemplate 1 - RearStepperMountTemplate Print the following with 2.5mm walls and 70% infill in PETG, ABS, or PETG with carbon fiber: 2 - Z_Platform_Mount 1 - Z_Platform_Mount_Rear NOTE: The bearing mounts have been removed from the assembly, as they cause more issues than they solve. Print the following with 2mm walls and 20% infill in your chosen material: 4 - Foot If using an optical endstop for the Z axis, print the following with 1.5mm walls, 20% infill, and support: 1 - Z Axis Optical Stop Housing 1 - Z Axis Optical Flag Good luck!
