Promega Simplified Extruder Back Plate
thingiverse
A simplified extruder back plate for the M3D Promega printer. It's now easier to print, install, and troubleshoot. V2- A wall has been added to prevent covers from sliding too far inward. Although this wasn't a problem for me, I thought it might cause trouble. Additionally, the files have been separated to make printing simpler. Install instructions follow: First, install the back plate with two screws. Next, insert each connector housing, ensuring they match their respective sides. Arrange them in this order: Extruder motor Thermister Heater Fan (I placed the front fan on the right and side fans on the left) Finally, slide covers over each side, allowing them to be mildly loose. Printed on a Prusa with a 0.4mm nozzle at 100% infill using ABS-R or PETG. Side pieces must be installed to hit the limit switch. This has only been tested with a gearbox upgraded limit switch. Hardware requirements: 2pcs M3 countersink head style screws, each 35mm in length for connecting the backplate to the motors 1pcs M3 screw, either countersink head or socket cap head, measuring 16mm to 18mm in length for connecting the cable harness to the tower
