The original center knob is notoriously small and difficult to tighten, not to mention prone to breaking under stress. In contrast, this new knob boasts a much larger size and a secure fit that resists slipping. To ensure a rock-solid connection, simply apply a bit of epoxy to the joint and you're good to go.
