The standard mount works just fine when you're running on one 4s battery, but things change when you switch to two 2s batteries. One day my truck took a nasty tumble and I was left shaken, but fortunately the battery slipped out and narrowly avoided damaging the cell in the spur. To prevent a similar mishap from happening again, I designed this simple mount that also happens to work perfectly in the rear position as well.
