Proline F250 Front Grill 2 Color Print
thingiverse
A fellow hobbyist inquired about printing this model and I was happy to oblige. The question was simple: how did they want it printed? Upon seeing the design, I thought it could be improved. So, I took on the challenge. For those with multiple extruders, I modified it to print in two colors at a certain point. Below are some pictures showing what I've been working on for this fellow hobbyist. Important note: The parts are already aligned, so please ensure your slicer doesn't move them during printing. One part is stacked above the other. I used a Hilbert curve fill pattern on the top surface to give it a sleeker look reminiscent of modern vehicles' black mesh grills. I think this adds a significant improvement to the overall design. For reference, I've included my G-code file for those who want to see the print preview or print it out immediately on an Original Prusa i3 MK3S with MMU2S and a 0.4mm nozzle. Black is filament one, metallic grey is filament two. I hope you like the result!
