This construction-grade valve adheres to ANSI B16.5 and API 590 standards and boasts a body made from steel plates, reinforced through shaped and welded sheets. This allows for a differentiated sealing system that eliminates the need to separate the valve halves and ensures that pipe misalignment won't affect the valve's function. The valve ends include VBA-15, a top-weld prepared pipe (type BW) designed for joining the valve and piping, as well as VBA-16, flanged with drilling according to standards such as ANSI B16.5 150lbs, NBR 7675 PN10, and others. The gate (Figure 8 type) is made from steel plate and features a minimum safety factor of 4 for tension (traction) and a minimum factor of 2 for compression and shear force. The sealing is done with elastomer and located in the internal rings, allowing for full passage without points of accumulation or possible obstruction of the flow path while also enabling easy replacement with the valve in line. The actuator provides quick and simple operation through a compression and decompression system that locks the actuator in the open or closed position when compressed and allows movement to the desired position (open or close) when decompressed, controlled by turning the actuation handle.
