I designed a clamp system that enables me to hang my projector screen securely from the ceiling. I produced two clamps, one for each end, using a version 9 iteration that's nearing perfection. To optimize the design, I added countersinks to the holes so machine screws don't obstruct the assembly. For this project, I'm utilizing 2-inch #8-32 machine screws on both sides and 3-inch #10-32 machine screws for the hanger, which connects to a bracket purchased from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T49FQQQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I'm working on version 10 of the clamp system, which allows for connection points closer to the middle of the screen. This modification creates a gap at the bottom of the clamp, enabling easy screen deployment. I'll update the design again once the printed clamps are complete and installed.
