Projectahedron
thingiverse
Create a Dodecahedron by 3D printing its 20 connectors and cutting aluminium tubes into 30 equal lengths (e.g., 750mm for a 2m diameter dome). Drill out connectors with an 8mm drill. Assemble the pieces to form a dome; ABS is better due to flexibility, but PLA works too. Cut fabric into eleven equal pieces using a connector face as a template. Sew these together following the design in thingiverse.com/image:72828. Join marked sides of five openings, and slip the tent-like structure over the dome. Mount the hemispheric mirror at the top via a wire inserted through the hole in the connector's center. Position the projector at the bottom, facing upward towards the mirror to project on the whole dome without distortion.
