This is to be printed in TPU, split into two sections: a cage and a base plate. The openings for the screens are initially sealed during printing. Next, print the Hero Model and Session Model using PLA, then insert them into the cage as a protective barrier for an exacto knife when carefully cutting open the screen display/lens holes. The base and cage feature alignment tabs to ensure proper positioning. Insert the cut GoPro tool model into the cage portion and follow these steps to glue the cage to the base. Use multiple rubber bands to hold everything together while the solvent cures, taking a couple of hours for the two pieces to fuse together. To glue TPU, use Dimethylformamide. Dip a q-tip in the solution and apply it liberally to the area to be glued. As you start to feel the TPU soften, press the two sides together and secure them in place. Let the mixture cure for several hours. This process chemically fuses or welds the TPU together, making it impossible to pry apart if done correctly. It is recommended that you create practice pieces of TPU before attempting to glue your final print.
