So you splurged on a sleek vertical turntable to maximize storage space and, let's be honest, justify dusting off that extensive vinyl collection in the garage. Soul, funk, house, classical - whatever your musical taste may be. You've invested countless hours scouring flea markets and estate sales in the past and wouldn't have it any other way. However, age is taking its toll, and maybe you're dealing with conditions like Parkinson's or arthritis that make switching between 33prm and 45rpm settings a chore. The massive o-ring (aka belt) frequently slips off the platter, prompting frustration and colorful language that your partner can't help but overhear. Enough about my personal struggles, though. Here's a set of two 3D-printed components designed to simplify the process of positioning the belt in its correct spot. One clips onto the front and is held in place with the OEM screw-on record retainer, while the other rests between the platter and the main chassis, preventing the belt from slipping down behind the platter as easily. Clamp the belt between the edge of the platter and the front 3D-printed part, then rotate it carefully so the belt follows the path of the entire platter without falling off. I'll post a video when I get around to it.
