This is the start of my MooWheel. I've had my VESC converted Pint for a couple months now, and I have realized the limitations of the Pint, so I am repurposing the electronics in my pint right now and moving them to a new frame. #FFM My discord username is otisthebigcow#0001 if you wanna ask me questions directly or suggest a fix or anything. Limitations of the Pint Form Factor: Small Enclosures (cant fit a 15s battery with a standard size BMS inside). Small Tire (Pints have a 10.5 inch diameter tire, lets make that 13 inch) Lack of Customization (With Future Motion's presigned frame, its hard to make parts compatible with the pint, mine will be fully customizable) Stripped Threads (One of the dumbest things Future Motion did was making threads in their aluminum rails, I've gone through 2 pairs of rails now. This design will be fastened together using nuts and bolts thru the U channel aluminum extrusion) Battery (The Pint had room for only a 15s1p battery, mine will have room for a 15s3p and maybe even 16s3p, I am working for a 15s3p form so I can reuse my Pint UltraCharger) Goals: -Fit 15s3p battery pack -Use common bolt, washer, nut hardware to assemble -Make everything printable on a 300x300 bed -Eventually have angled/concave footpads -Make rail attachments (flashlight, gopro, etc) -Fender Options (normal, fender tray, udders :D) -Optimize enough to use less than 4 kg of filament -TPU Bumpers -Fangs (Definitely front, maybe rear) -Keep it simple, keep it strong, keep it customizable -Maintain greater than Pint speeds (maybe even XR??) -Bright LEDS :D The width of this is not quite right. I have to get the length of the motor axle then I will make the width of the design right, but this is a very close estimate. I will let you know once I get that measurement and correction! Please feel free to improve upon my design! Feedback is always appreciated! Updates (You can read or not read. I don't care) -(1/22/2022) Creation of post, Uploaded Placeholder Image -(1/23/2022) Added a Model of the Aluminum Extrusion you need, as well as the current save of my model, recent updates was bolt holes for the controller box, channels for the led wires to run thru, and other minor things :D -(1/24/2022) Worked on the seal for the battery box and created led routing channels near the motor mount, made the holes for the bolts thru the rails and such. I am now focusing on filament optimization. -(1/26/2022) Had time to measure the Motors axle length(specific to Hypercore 170mm) and adjusted it to be slim as possible while still fitting a 15s 3p battery, i have some trimming up and reshaping i need to do since i slimmed it up, maybe tonight i will who knows. Its getting close tho! This will be a beast. -(1/27/2022) Couple of more tweaks, felt like uploading it now as i may not be able to touch for a few days who knows :> there is a base for the fender and fender baseplate if u wanna check out and modify -(1/30/2022) File sizes are getting bigger and bigger o_o lol. Haven't done much as I was busy this weekend, but I did make countersinks for the washers so it applies nice and even pressure on the plastic while not sticking out too much, also i slimmed down the skid plates and bumpers to save filament and make it have a slightly larger angle of clearance. I also slimmed down the fender delete and cut it into decently sized pieces, as well as modify the rear footpad's underside a little bit. Also added the text on the bumpers, I want them on my final board, but if you open the.f3d file, it'd be too easy to remove and edit to have whatever text or shape you want. I learned a trick on my slicer to create areas of higher walls or infill, so i plan on using that when printing to try and optimize usage, ill prolly do a brief tutorial on it who knows  I also got my aluminum extrusion i will cut to length soon as well as ordered my battery spot welding rig, and currently I am printing the battery holders and insulators, so yeaaaaaa thats about it for this update :D -(2/4/2022) I have started printing parts, hopefully ill put some pics of parts up. Think this save is mostly print ready.
