"Project Locus" - A Large 3D Printed, 3D Printer

My former roommate and I split a Prusa i2 about a year or two ago, deciding to go our separate ways after living together for a while. Once we'd parted company, we faced the challenge of figuring out who would get to keep the printer. I decided I wanted to build an even bigger model, and that's exactly what happened - this entire printer was built using my old one. Every single part was designed by me. If you're interested in seeing all the details, check out the "Instructions" tab for a comprehensive guide. - The build volume of this printer is roughly 1 cubic foot (12 inches x 12 inches x 12 inches). - You can find a detailed explanation of the design challenges and an overview of the printer itself in the instructions.
