Project Life Size Diva
thingiverse
Project Life Size Diva is basically exactly what it sounds like, a desire to print a life sized Hatsune Miku, so I found a model that looked great, scaled it up and began to cut it down to fit on my printer. All files are sized to fit on an ender 3 pro. At this time I've managed to prepare the arms, legs and head, next to be finalized is the body, however I'm beginning to get a bit worried about the weight on all of the connections so I'm exploring ways to either decrease mass or secure the connections more securely, with this in mind the arms are the most secure and least likely to be affected by any changes I may make. The included STL files are the individual prints, but the GCODE files are pre sliced to minimize the number of prints needed to finish, if you have a different printer you may need to arrange and slice the files yourselves. [UPDATE 1] Added files for the body, a couple of the Gcode files contain more than one part, I've also replaced the pins with a design that should be easier to insert and uses just slightly less filament. [Final Update] That's it, all of the parts chopped down and sliced, she's ready to be printed now. This was an insane amount of work but it should be well worth it. If you use the gcode files I've included here's the raw numbers for what to expect; 948.61 hours of printing, and 19,316 grams of filament. I debated getting the setting perfect so she'd come out at her canon weight in addition to height but I don't have the patience for that. There's a distinct possibility she'll be too top heavy to stand on her own but I haven't gotten that far yet.
