project enclosure for 12PSU, prototype board and voltmeter
thingiverse
A custom enclosure and cover for a Mean Well 12 PSU Model RS-15-12, paired with a prototype board measuring 75.5x51mm, sits atop a column alongside an enclosure for a panel voltmeter 5135-LCD DC-20, which boasts dimensions of 79x42x26mm. The mains switch is sourced from mouser.com, specifically the R6ABLKREDAF model, and its datasheet can be found on their website at www.mouser.com/ds/2/140/R6-346382.pdf. Tumbler switches with a 6mm neck diameter are used in this setup. Initially, the voltmeter's backlight featured a blue hue, but after conducting rigorous power voltage testing, the blue LEDs burned out when subjected to voltages exceeding 12V. In response, two red LEDs and one yellow LED were soldered into place, accompanied by a 500Ω load resistor, resulting in a rose-colored backlight. Printer Specifications The Raise 3D Plus printer was used for this project. Rafts: None were employed. Supports: Yes, utilized to ensure structural integrity. Resolution: A precision of 0.25 mm was achieved. Infill Density: The infill density reached 22%. Printed Material: The enclosure and cover were printed in black PLA. Various M3 screws with different lengths are used for assembly purposes.
