Project drag bike
grabcad
For years, this project has remained unfinished as all parts were meticulously measured and assembled. The goal is to construct a PRP-style 130CI+ motor with a unique side by side rod setup, similar to the Delkron design, featuring a bottom door on the cases. In addition, head porting and testing are planned, along with experiments on single and collected drag pipe exhaust configurations. A personal project for some time, it currently awaits bending and welding of chromoly for its chassis. The rear wheel will either be an 8" or 12", while the motor capacity is expected to range from 130CI to 160CI. This ambitious 4-year project has involved precise modeling of every internal component using Solidworks, raising curiosity about how well it will align with true design expectations and actual drag strip performance in terms of time and horsepower.
