Project Colossus - Apollo Guidance Computer
sketchfab
A replica of the Apollo Guidance Computer (block II) main body, the DSKEY input unit and a sample logic board module for the computer are on display. The name "Colossus" is actually the in-house term for the program that runs on the computer. I focused my presentation on this project and decided to set it out like a museum exhibit to engage the audience. All the information used for the annotations comes from reputable sources: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_Guidance_Computer and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Core_rope_memory. This is not an exhaustive study or accurate representation, so take it with a grain of salt.
