Project Box

Project Box

Project box designed to hold a 2 inch by 7 inch printed circuit board, a standard 16 by 2 LCD display, and three half inch diameter buttons, featuring two holes for secure 1/2 inch conduit connections. I created this project box using FreeCad as a custom enclosure to house an inverter load controller I built myself. Now, I am sharing it here, hoping that someone else may find it useful for their own project needs. Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer Model: MakerBot Replicator Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Infill Percentage: 20% Post-Printing After printing, I discovered that no tolerance was included in the design. To achieve a precise fit, I had to carefully sand the joining surfaces and openings. How I Designed This Project Box I designed this custom enclosure using FreeCad by combining common geometric shapes and modifying them as necessary to create the desired volume for printing.
