Project box for Boost Converter/ 12v laptop charger
thingiverse
I was searching for a laptop charger that could run from a 12v car source and a project box to put a Boost Converter into. The snap together part of the lid broke on one end, but it still works, albeit a little loose. I may look into how others have made theirs at another time. I also added four small washers to allow for fan clearance. The M3 screws screw directly into the holes, so nuts are not needed. A hole on top allows for voltage adjustment to a potentiometer without opening the unit. A little hot glue helps to act as wire retention for maximum abuse. A video will follow, and links to the filament used will be in the description. The exported files were created with the repair feature within Ideamaker.
