Project Box for 50x70PCB and 18650
thingiverse
I'm diving headfirst into learning about hobby electronics, and this design seems like a perfect fit for some exciting ESP8266 projects I've got cooking in my lab. With countless project boxes already available on Thingiverse, it's no wonder finding one that matches my exact dimensions is proving to be a challenge. So, I took matters into my own hands and designed this custom box from scratch. It's built to accommodate a 50 cm x 70 cm prototyping board or PCB with ease, as well as a convenient mount for an 18650 LiPo battery. The spacious interior measures 50 cm x 70 cm, which should give me plenty of room to experiment and hone my skills. Plus, it features mounting holes on the exterior, allowing me to secure it firmly to a wall or ceiling – or whatever surface I need to. The internal mounting holes are precision-crafted for M2.5 screws, while the external ones are sized to accommodate drywall screws, which seem to be in endless supply for some reason.
